sometimes the greatest place to go for character inspiration is just down the road to the ol walmart. all kinds of humanity shuffling up and down the aisles just asking to be caricatured. i take a mental photograph of the most interesting ones (in as uncreepy of a way as possible) and sketch them as soon as i get a chance. heres one of em:

Monster party!

My awesome little son turned 1 this week and my wife got crafty and threw him a pretty sweet monster party. My humble contribution to the decor was these little party monsters to hang on the wall. Kind of fun just playing with some simple shapes.
